"The Sound of Truth"

There is only one.
I recently got a letter in the mail, that said they had some important information to share. The letter stated that
they were sending this info to over 200 lands. They said people all over the world were able to learn Bible
answers to their questions.
Included with the letter was a tract they said was a sample of the message they wanted to share. The tract
was from the "Jehovah's Witness."
Here is the reply I sent them:
I have some important information for you. I have read your letter, & tract. In the name of Jesus, I write you.
I have read, & study the Bible. The tract says the quotations are from the new world translation.
That is not the Bible. The authorised King James version is the only Bible. All other translations have changed,
added, & taken from the Bible. This is against God.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it,
that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor
diminish from it.
Revelation 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any
man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his
part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Your tract talks of peace, happiness, & prosperity. A doctrine of peace, & prosperity. The doctrine is a false
doctrine.
Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to
exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for
filthy lucre’s sake.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow
bellies.
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and
unto every good work reprobate.
Titus 2:1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
You must learn sound doctrine. Here is sound doctrine; you must have the Holy Ghost. There is only one way
to get the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
When you have truly repented, & God has accepted your repentance, you will speak in other tongues.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit
gave them utterance.
If you haven’t done this, you do not have the Holy Ghost. You are not going to go to heaven. You are not
saved. You cannot understand Bible truth – sound doctrine, without the Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness
unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
The tract says the new heavens, & new earth are not literally new. Wrong. They will be new. These will melt,
be dissolved, & pass away. He destroyed man from the earth in the flood, saving Noah, & his family.
Literally. He promise not to use water again. He promised to use fire.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass
away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy
conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth
righteousness.
The tract says the purpose for this earth, ideal conditions, was to have children, everything be paradise,
& man would live forever.
This is teaching perverted lust. It is a pervertion of the scriptures, & tells that lust was a marvelous must.
The purpose of God is not even recognized. The Bible tells God knew man would sin. He had purposed to
bring salvation to the earth, to man, before man had ever been created. The first thing created was the
heaven, and the earth. Before man was created. Before God created anything He had a plan. The plan of
salvation. The plan I have already told you: Acts 2:38.
Genisis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are
the works of thine hands:
In the beginning, God laid the founation of the earth. His plan to bring salvation was before then. Jesus had
planned to come to earth to bring salvation to man before He ever created man.
1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold,
from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for
you,
Jesus had planned - foreordained before the foundation of the world – to come to the earth to shed His blood
on calvary that we would have salvation.
John 1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
Jesus is the Lamb of God, slain from before the foundation of the world. This is the gospel of salvation.
Jesus having died on the cross for us, was buried, rose again, returned to glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
glory.
Jesus died on the cross – we repent, & die out to sin.
Jesus was buried – we are baptised in Jesus’ name. Buried in water we take on the name of Jesus, His blood
applied to us.
Jesus rose from the grave – we come up out of the water, rising to live in newness of life. Having received
the Holy Ghost, we become a new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Jesus returned to glory – Having received the Holy Ghost, we have the hope of the resurrection to life eternal.
Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his
death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by
the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his
resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that
henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
The tract says …there are requirements to be met if we are to live forever…
That is right. Those in Acts 2:38.
The tract (at the front) says the new heaven, & new earth are not literal, & that they remain forever. The last
paragraph says it is a fact this world is passing away and so is it’s desire.
This is a divided statement. The Bible tells:
Mark 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Mark 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Mark 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
False doctrines cannot stand. In Jesus’ name I bind deception, perversion, lust, seducing, & lying spirits,
compromise, & false teachings.
