"Praying in the Holy Ghost"
The apostle Paul gave some good aqdvice on how to cope with the pressures of life, of the ministry, and how
to become stronger in the faith. He said, "But ye beloved build up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying
in the Holy Ghost" - Jude 20. The key step into the deeper things of the Lord is praying in the Holy Ghost.
This is very important because it is the only way you can build yourself up in the faith. When we say we
are praying in the Holy Ghost, we refer to praying until the annointing of God comes.
**To give a more detailed explanation: When a person has prayed, Repented to the point where God accepts their repentance, He will fill them with the Holy Ghost, & at that instant they will begin to speak in new tongues. (Only then are you saved; NOT when as many think - that they accept Him as their savior.) It is the initial evidence of having the Holy Ghost. Without this evidence you don't have the Holy Ghost - salvation. (Then you need to be baptized in Jesus' name.) When you pray in the Holy Ghost, you pray until you pray in fluent tongues. This praying in fluent tongues, is a daily necessity.**
This is a place in
your prayer life where you come in tune with God. You then will know you are in His will.
When you reach this level you then can start praying for God to move that mountain that Satan has set in
front of you, because you will know that this mountain must be removed, and that God can move it for you.
A person who prays in the Holy Ghost by definition is one who must have a good prayer life (continually
praying.) He is an intercessor, who continues deeper, & deeper in prayer. This is a person who can get his
prayers answered. This man always has a revival spirit. People want to be around him because he can touch
the hem of God's garment & get the job done.
Every saint has to exercise the faith that has been given unto them. God has given to each one a
measure of faith, but it is up to us to begin to make it work. Faith can reach into the invisible world, & make
it visible. I like to think of it as a record player. You have to put the needle down on the record before
you hear the sound. Does that mean the sound is contained in the needle? No, it is on the record, but
the needle releases the sound. This is how our faith operates. The needle is our faith that we let down
into the living Word. Then the invisible becomes visible. As faith takes hold of things, they become reality
in our lives. How do we release this faith? The minister, & saints should ask God for the gift of faith, and
put it to work. Everyone should earnestly desire this gift of the Spirit. If we let this faith flow through us
it will influence people, and drive away the powers of darkness.
There is power in prayer. Let's get to work on our prayer life. Prayer is the key to heaven, but faith
unlocks the door.
