"The Sound of Truth"

A CERTAIN SOUND
Isaiah 35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Romans 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Malachi 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
2 Cor. 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2 Cor. 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness
of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Heb. 12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Ex. 33:4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
5. For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
6. And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
1 Tim. 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1 Pet. 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
Deut. 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
Jer. 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17. Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
Ezekiel 33:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live,
because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Heb. 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
A True Friend

Psalms 78:1 ((Maschil of Asaph)) Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
2. I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
3. Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
4. We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation
to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
5. For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers,
that they should make them known to their children:
6. That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born;
who should arise and declare them to their children:
7. That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
8. And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation;
a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
Is. 38:19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
20. The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
The Elder's Notes
There is something people have left. Truth. People once had a love for truth. Today people have the idea that they are all saved, & can
still do as they please. Sin is sin. Things that were sin 30 years ago are still sin. People have left the old fashioned holiness, truth,
prayer, & Bible reading. There is a very specific order in the scriptures above. - There is a way. God's way. His way is holiness.
We have to be holy. We have to keep our flesh - our bodies holy. If we keep ourselves holy, we are not servants of sin. If we don't,
we are servants to sin. People think they can marry, & divorce, without a second thought. God said He hates divorce.
We have to separate ourselves from sin. We have to be separate from doing as those people do. - Cleansing ourselves,
& perfecting holiness. We have to follow the path of holiness. Without it, no man shall see the Lord.
People think they can wear whatever they like, & it's ok. It isn't. Wearing jewelry, gold, silver, is sin. Wearing clothes that don't cover the body,
shorts, mini skirts, split skirts that seduce, bathing suits, short sleeves, tight clothes, ect. ANY SEDUCTIVE clothing. It is still sin.
People used to preach these things, & call it sin to do them, but today they tell you it's ok to do these things. Sin is still sin.
These things are holiness, & are supposed to be in our hearts. People today don't know these things as they should. Why?
They don't hear it. People don't teach it, or preach it as they should. People don't teach their children at home, & preachers,
& Sunday school teachers, don't teach it in churches. We are to stand in the ways of holiness, see, & ASK FOR the old paths
of holiness, & walk THAT way.
God has a government in place, & He set watchmen over us. He said hearken to the sound of the trumpet. The watchmen
are to sound the trumpet - preach the TRUTH. People don't like to hear the truth. The preachers, & teachers today, want to smooth
things over, & tell people it's ok to do as they please. WRONG. The watchmen are to tell TRUTH as God said tell it.
When they don't, they are in trouble with God. They have the blood of those people they didn't warn on their hands.
Once saved always saved? NOT ANY. When a righteous man turns from righteousness, sins, & doesn't repent, &
the preacher doesn't warn him, the man will die lost. His righteousness he had done will NOT be remembered. God requires
that man's blood at the hand of the watchman. When the watchman warns him, the watchman has set himself free.
The preachers CAN'T compromise. Preachers, & teachers, that don't preach, & teach, holiness are false prophets.
But speaking the truth in love, grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. He hates sin, what He called sin is still sin. That will never
change.

Hear what I've told you. It's not new. Your parents should've taught you.Teach your children. Show the generations to come the
way to praise, & worship the Lord. Tell them of His goodness, His strength, His wonderful works. Don't let the fire die.
Keep the testimony alive, the old fashioned holiness standards are commanded to be taught to your children. That each
generation teach the next, so they might set their hope in God, & not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.
Don't be stubborn, & rebellious, as those whose hearts aren't right, & spirit is not steadfast with God.
The living shall praise the Lord as I do this day; the fathers shall teach their children the truth.
The Lord was ready to save me, now I have a song to sing, & music to play in the house of the Lord all my days.
I sat under a pastor for awhile several years ago. One service, he preached a message about having a true friend. He said if there
was ever sometime he needed someone to warn him that he had gotten out of line with God, he hoped he would have a true friend.
One that would tell him the truth. One of the men in the church came & told me he felt like God wanted him to tell me to
"beware of the wolf." When I sat under the pastor for a year or two, & hadn't heard any of the holiness, & standards as
in the scriptures above, (praying about it daily) I ask him about it. He said he used to preach it, but
"you can't preach that anymore, they will run you out." I had to keep my respect for the office of government God set
so, I set the scriptures above on paper. I had heard a message a couple of years before titled " A Certain Sound." When the
trumpet sounds in battle, the sound for attack, it must be certain. When it sounds the sound for help, it must be certain.
When it sounds retreat, it must be certain. That's where I got the title. The scriptures are pure truth. There is nothing of my
own thoughts in it. I kept myself totally out of the picture. As the pastor had ask for a true friend, I signed it: A true friend.
I gave them to that pastor, & told him I was leaving that church.While I was talking with the pastor, God revealed
who the wolf was. He ask if I would stay, & let him work with me about it. I stayed. For the next three services
he preached against what I had given him, saying anybody that was used to hearing things a certain way needed
a deeper walk with God. That was where I drew a line. The next service I went to was at another church.
There was an unscheduled visiting preacher. The theme he preached was about a line in the sand.
God confirmed things right then. I hope I had managed to be:
